New Jury menber for SPERA2023 Online Edition

Ms Yseult Lendvai, the Ballet Mistress of the Stuttgart Ballet, will be one of the jury menbers for SPERA2023 Online Edition!

 

Yseult Lendvai, born in Lays-Les-Roses, France, received her dance training at the Ecole Supérieure de Danse du Quebec. She joined various renowned ballet companies, including Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens, Ballet British Columbia, and the National Ballet of Canada, where she made a name for herself with her profound interpretations of leading roles, notably in John Cranko's ballets. As a Principal Dancer with the Stuttgart Ballet from 1996 to 2004, she captivated audiences with her performances in iconic works and toured extensively. Yseult also appeared as a guest artist with esteemed companies such as the Royal Ballet and the Teatro alla Scala, showcasing her talent in renowned ballets. After a successful career, she transitioned to the roles of ballet mistress and Deputy Artistic Director, sharing her experience and expertise with aspiring dancers, particularly in the ballets of John Cranko. She returned to the Stuttgart Ballet in 2016 as a ballet mistress, continuing her legacy by passing on her knowledge to the next generation.

 

 

 

 

 

I've had the pleasure of seeing the Stuttgart Ballet's performances many times, and posters featuring her and Vladimir Malakhov are my treasures.
